Oosra of the Runner
A hunter and warrior by trade, Oosra has spent much of his life roaming the Azim Steppe on his own. It wasn't until more recent years that he made the leap to leave his homeland and come to eorzea. Now, this xaela seeks new challenges and experiences in this strange land. when not serving as security aboard the runner, he can often be found trading furs or getting a drink in ul'dah.
Oosra towers above even most of his kin, reaching well above seven fulms. Thick raven hair cascades past his shoulders in various braids and a ponytail.Dark, stone-like scales cover much of his body, even jutting from his jaw and chin in jagged ridges. They are further complemented by plum colored skin and piercing amber limbal rings around his irises. A pair of large horns are rooted just behind his temples -- following his jawline in a wave before ending in faded crimson points. A smaller pair also jut out and back from either side of the crown of his head.In terms of clothing, Oosra is often wearing hand-stitched hides and simple trinkets with carved animal bone. Occasionally an armored plate or foreign bauble can be seen incorporated into his handiwork. And though rustic, the designs are certainly implemented with the care of a skilled artisan.

To the Skies - Serving as security aboard a passenger airship, it's very possible that your character may have seen him in any number of places! Perhaps they noticed him a few times in the docking towers? Maybe they've been a passenger on the Runner itself!
Tribal RP - Oosra was raised in the Steppe so that tribal lifestyle is very much ingrained in his personality. Is your character a fellow xaela with such a background? Maybe they're from the Iriq as well! Characters who share this background or a similar one are fairly easy for him to relate to!
Hunting - Oosra is an avid hunter of wild game. This skill was learned out of necessity but he also finds it to be a fun way to spend his free time. He's always searching for exotic beasts to challenge him. If your character is also a hunter, I'm sure they would have much to talk about!
Sparring - Oosra seeks to constantly challenge himself and grow stronger. One of his favorite ways of doing this is by sparring with others. Perhaps your character's even seen him at the Grindstone here and there. Regardless, if they like a friendly bout, it doesn't often take much convincing to get him interested in a challenge!
Trinkets, Meat, and Furs - Oosra makes use of almost every part of his kills. He salts the meat into jerky for longterm storage. Bone, teeth, and claws are used to make tools and decorative trinkets. Furs are traded to vendors on the street or even fashioned into rudimentary tunics. If your character is looking to purchase some or to simply "talk shop", they can approach him about it!
Oosra can often come off as abrasive. Especially to those who don't know him well. He claims to hate lying, so for better or worse, you'll usually get an honest opinion. Most answers to a question will be as blunt and direct as a club to the face. Though he might try to soften the blow if he likes you.He often prefers to stick to the background and watch people. Partly out of curiosity and partly because he's slowly getting used to foreign cultures. When new people approach him out of the blue, it isn't uncommon to be greeted with caution or flat out annoyance. Though, he's been known to warm up to others if he finds their company enjoyable.Having spent most of his life in the Steppe, the common Eorzean dialect is still very much a second language to him. This often results in his stiff, almost-formal speech. As well as some instances of taking Eorzean expressions a little too literally. Needless to say, he's much more comfortable in his native Xaelic tongue.

While I base aspects of my characters on established bits of lore, I am no stranger to bending it and adding in headcanons of my own! I find RP is much more enjoyable when you get to have a bit of fun with it.
My active hours during my work week can vary greatly, depending on the day. The nature of my job means there isn't a specific time I'm guaranteed to get off at. You'll find me most active in the evenings or pretty much any time of day on my weekends (Sun-Tues).
